GALNERYUS

A pronúncia em inglês de YAMA-B se aproxima da perfeição, e as músicas são cheias de solos impressionantes de Syu. O baixo tende a ficar um pouco no fundo, e a bateria é rápida e poderosa, típica do power metal. O teclado costuma adicionar sons orquestrados às canções.

É difícil dizer, por seu som, que eles são uma banda japonesa; ao invés disso, eles poderiam se passar por uma banda européia ou americana de metal, sendo comparados constantemente com o Sonata Artica ou Stratovarius.

Vidoll

Desde 18 de Setembro do ano passado que os Vidoll estão oficialmente em pausa, devido aos tratamentos relativos ao problema de garganta do vocalista da banda, Jui.
Apesar de tudo, a banda anunciou agora que a separação será inevitável.
Os membros afirmam no entanto que esta é uma "separação positiva", e esperam que os fãs da banda continuem a seguir o seus projectos individualmente daqui para a frente.
As razões por detrás desta decisão estão patentes nas ditas diferenças musicais e de gerência da banda que acabaram por resultar em orientações divergentes a nível pessoal.
Os membros planeiam, contudo, fazer comentários mais esclarecedores sobre o assunto em breve.

O último álbum dos Vidoll, "BEST", vai sair a 19 de Janeiro como previsto, e o último concerto oficial da banda vai ser a 7 de Maio @ Shinkiba STUDIO COAST.

Além disso, numa nota mais positiva, Jui vai lançar o seu álbum de estreia a solo a 20 de Abril.

Secilia Luna

Secilia Luna is a visual-kei band whose style is just as flowery and feathery as they look (hence the tanbi-kei description). Their music isn't all that heavy, although recent releases show that they are able to perform rather aggressive themed songs, but they do have quite a few songs with beautiful arrangements. The reason I labeled them as "symphonic rock" is because their guitar and bass parts are no where as heavy as they should be to be considered a metal band. For disambiguation purposes, this band was formerly known as Seciliaルナ, which is the same name but with "luna" in katakana. This name was used when they had their first vocalist and drummer. In 2009 both members left and the band went on hiatus. A few months later they acquired a new vocalist and drummer and changed their name. Since their OHP only lists their singles since their name change, I think both names are supposed to be considered different bands. Their styles didn't really change all that much, but their newer name uses much better orchestra and keyboard parts in opinion. Alright, I guess it isn't right to say "they didn't' change at all," because they did, but when you listen to songs from both periods you will think "yeah, that's the same band."
